The vineyard : The grapes come from shallow sandy loam soil, allowing ripe and precise wines.
The wine : 60% Muscat d’Alsace – 40% Muscat Ottonel
Wine-making process : The harvest is hand-picked and whole pressed in a long pneumatic process (8 to 9 hours) to extract gently he aromatic potential. After static racking, yeasts are added to control the fermentation, which lasts two to four months. Ageing on total lees in oaky tanks. Sterile filtration before bottling.
Tasting notes : Crispy and dry. Nose with a great freshness and typical Muscat notes, bergamot and acidulous profile. On the palate, a fine harmony is showed between the body and the dry caracter. Finish with persistant candy-lemon aromas.
