Founded in 1950, the Cave de Montpeyroux is one of the last wine cellars to have been built in the Languedoc. Looking resolutely to the future, it has held the Committed Winegrowers label since 2017, and follows a sustainable development approach. Located at the highest point of an archipelago of terroirs, the winery is rooted in the wild garrigue scrubland at the heart of the Hérault Valley. Diverse soils and a mild climate enable great wines of reference to be created.
This rare Montpeyroux terroir, long renowned, aims to be a communal cru, and is recognized for its alluvial lakeside calcareous soils. It is the last stop before the fragrant mountain, with a windswept and stony terroir.
