The Sparapani Frati Bianchi winery is situated in the hills of Cupramontana, one of the best cru of the  DO Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico.

We are right in the center of “Le Marche” region.

We are very proud of being a small family winery: strong family ties, wisdom of the tradition and passion for what we do are the key points of our work.

The history of our family, started in 1933, when our grandparents owned one hectar of vineyard planted with verdicchio.

Our grandmother used to sell food at the bazar and our grandfather took care of the vineyard and its products.

In 1980 our father Sparapani Settimio, who was in love with everything concerning vineyards and production of verdicchio, focused his activity on the land and the winery involving his family in the business.

It was the right time for a turning point: the family decided to aim to high-quality wines and, in 1990 after having acquired know-how and modern techniques, they launched the first bottles of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico.

The new Sparapani wine cellar, inaugurates in 2015, is nowadays surrounded by 20 hectars of Verdicchio vineyards, 6 of them organic certified, and is run by the young Pino, Paolo and Francesca Sparapani.

Next to the winery “Trattoria Da Fiorina” proposes traditional food of our region Le Marche where Pino, Paolo and Francesca are happy to welcome you in a friendly and cosy environment.

NEW PRODUCT TO PRESENT

The year 2024 will be the first time for us to introduce our wines to the French and international market.

On this event we will launch the new vintage 2022 of our masterpiece and awarded wine “IL PRIORE“ : Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Doc Classico Superiore.

The name of this wine comes from the ancient “Eremo dei Frati Bianchi” (hermitage of the white monks) where IL PRIORE had the most important role within the hermitage.

The “Eremo dei Frati Bianchi” was the inspiration for this wine due to its position, surrounding our small part of vineyard of about 2 hectars, and due to the meticulous and passionate work of the monks as well as of our family.

And it is right in this finest plot of our vineyards with the highest altitude of Cupramontana, the south-east exposition and a great excursion between day and night that on 1996we picked up the grapes for what became and still is  “IL PRIORE”.

A production of only 20.000 bottles aiming at highlight the organoleptic features of our autochtonous vine variety Verdicchio to let you taste the maximum expression of a typical wine of this cultivation area.

We will present also the new vintage of our Castelli di Jesi Classico Riserva DOCG 2021 “Donna Cloe”, a small production of 2.500 bottles, a lively wine which develops in wood and surprisingly capable of being aged for long.

“Daje Tempo” Marche Bianco IGT : a limited edition of 2.000 bottles.

It is our novelty, a wine born from macerated Verdicchio grapes with indigenous yeast and aged in French Tonneau. The name Daje Tempo (give it time) brings us back to that “old habit”, nowadays nearly lost, of not being in a harry, being able to wait, being patient, taking our time and giving it to the others.
