The Sparapani Fratibianchi winery is situated in Cupramontana, one of the best cru of the DO Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi. We are right in the center of Le Marche region. The history of our family winery, started in 1933, when our grandparents owned one hectar of vineyard planted with verdicchio. My grandmother used to sell food at the bazar and my grandfather took care of the vineyard and its products. In 1980 our father Sparapani Settimio, who was in love with everything concerning vineyards and production of verdicchio, started to look after the land and the winery involving his family in the business. The family decided to aim to high-quality wines and, in 1996, after having acquired know-how and modern techniques, creates its masterpiece and awarded wine “ IL PRIORE “ Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Doc Classico Superiore. The new Sparapani wine cellar, inaugurates in 2015, is nowadays surrounded by 20 hectars of Verdicchio vineyards, 6 of them organic certified, and is run by the young Pino, Paolo and Francesca Sparapani. Next to the winery “Trattoria Da Fiorina” proposes traditional food of our region Le Marche where Pino, Paolo and Francesca are happy to welcome you in a friendly and cosy environment.
