History of the Estate : For more than three centuries, the Jouves family has cultivated the vine from father to son with passion and "savoir faire".
The vineyard : Our vineyard is located on the Quercy plateaus overlooking the Lot valley. It covers more than 26 hectares of clay and limestone soils called "causse" with a southern, south-eastern and south-western exposure.
Philosophy :We have chosen to privilege the future by the quality and the respect of our environment. For the quality, we have chosen a traditional vinification, we do not use yeast or aromatic additives. For our wines aged in barrels, we use only real oak barrels (no flavored or unflavored chips). For the respect of the environment, we have chosen to privilege a respectful treatment on the long term of our plots (use of products without CMR and reduction of copper contribution), technical installations of protection of the grounds (approved washing area, grassing, green manures, manure produced on our farm).
