This dry, fruity wine surprises with the power of its lingering aromas. Intense and warm on the palate, it develops over a long period.
Terroir : The vines are grown in the Beaujolais region, as well as in the village of Irancy, which is situated 15 km from Auxerre in the hollow of a valley whose slopes are covered with vines and cherry trees. Our Irancyterroir is clay-limestone, with varying proportions of limestone. Kimmeridgian soil dating from the Jurassic period, from the Aube geological belt. Area of 2 hectares.
Winemaking : single Guyot pruning. The grapes are harvested when fully ripe. The soil is maintained mechanically to ensure that the vines are cultivated in a sustainable manner. The juice is taken from double-bottomed trailers, so there is very little contact between the skin of the berry and the juice. This practice produces pale, rich and expressive rosés. Aged 100% in stainless steel vats for 6 months
Age of vines : 30 years
