50 years of passion. 50 years of intensive work. 50 years of terroir wines with unique character. As is well known, good viticulture takes time: 50 years of experience and discipline, as well as the energy of the Giovanett family, are the basis of this unique success story. The winery, now in its 3rd generation of family management, shows its essence in a symbiosis of tradition and pioneering spirit. In total, the winery today processes grapes from 70 hectares of vineyards, of which about 70% are white grape varieties with a main focus on Chardonnay, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon. The remaining 30% are red varieties, here the focus is on Pinot Nero. Out of the will to always produce higher quality wines, the new Pinot Noir project was launched in 2018, focusing on the Buchholz, Glen and Mazon vineyards. In 2022, the winery reached two more milestones: 30 years of "Burgum Novum", top line of the winery launched in 1989 by Günther Giovanett, and the launch of the new "Kreuzweg" - a Chardonnay Riserva of the "Family Reserve", which represents the top of the quality pyramid for Castelfeder. This Chardonnay reflects the characteristics of its terroir in the best possible way and is only available in a limited amount.
