"Vignobles Romain" is a family story that began in 1973 when Aline Romain bought the Montels estate, a 15 hectare wine estate in the southwest of France. In 1980 she created the appellation of the slopes and terraces of Montauban, restructured the vineyard and developed the sale to the property. In 1990 his sons Philippe and Thierry Romain came to support him. Over time, the estate grows and increases its vineyard areas. In 2011, the Romain family acquired the Serre de Bovila estate in Cahors where they have been exploiting Malbec in all these forms for more than 10 years. Continuing the adventure since 2016, the company takes over from Mas des Anges, a wine estate at the gates of Montauban converted to organic farming. Vignobles Romain was born from the marriage of all these experiences to offer a varied range of wines on more than 100 hectares of approved vines of high environmental value. in our wines and our balance.
