About

The farm Moretti Omero is situated in Giano dell’Umbria, one of the 5 commons allowed to produce Montefalco DOC wines. It is organic since 1992.

Organic winemaking was a choice started by Omero Moretti and continued by the daughter Giusy.

The keyword is craftsmanship. Favoring the cultivation of native varieties, the family is responsible for every stage of production: from harvesting grapes and olives by hand, to leading tastings in the cellar or around the world.
Our vineyards are some of the highest in the area, giving vivid freshness to these wines. Red wines that doesn’t weaken with time and seduce with gritty but elegant character. Deep white wine and an intriguing metodo classico, all of them perfect for your aperitivo italiano.

We produce not only wine, but also extra vergin olive oil and Grappa.

Our extra virgin olive oil is obtained by cold pressing: it is the pure juice of olives. The quality of the olives and the attention during the pressing give an intense aroma and a unique taste: smooth and balanced in its bitter and spicy tones.

Our Grappa is made with Sagrantino. The Sagrantino grapes have skins rich in polyphenolic substances and with an extremely complex aromatic heritage. The distillation carried out a subtle aroma typical of the vine of origin, therefore makes the Grappa di Sagrantino very refined. It is pleasant with a characteristic aftertaste that recalls dried fruit and chocolate.
