Child Company of CIVL-CONSEIL INTERPROFESSIONNEL VINS DU LANGUEDOC
At the heart of the Pic Saint-Loup appellation, Château La Roque is a historic estate set on a spectacular terroir of limestone-clay terraced vineyards, facing the Pic. Farmed biodynamically, the vineyard produces precise and elegant wines, deeply marked by the freshness and minerality of the site.
Alongside the region’s emblematic Mediterranean grape varieties — Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Counoise for reds and rosés, Bourboulenc, Rolle (Vermentino), Roussanne and Viognier for whites — the estate stands out for its distinctive work with two non-native grape varieties planted in 2016: Malvasia Istriana and Assyrtiko.
Rarely cultivated in the region, these varieties now give rise to limited-production, single-varietal cuvées, offering an original and contemporary interpretation of La Roque’s terroir. Among the estate’s signature wines, La Cupa represents the most accomplished expression of the Château’s red wines and is regularly praised by the wine press.
We look forward to meeting wine professionals seeking distinctive, committed and character-driven wines, and to presenting a complete range designed for both gastronomy and specialist distribution.
