Great wines come from top sites. In the town of Kurtatsch in the south of Alto Adige, the vineyards stretch from 220 meters to

900 meters above sea level. The difference in elevation of almost 700 meters in a wine village is

unique in Europe. Each grape variety finds its ideal location, its ideal terroir, in the breathtakingly

steep vineyards. The young, dynamic team of the 125 year old winery has focused on

sustainable agriculture and belongs nowadays to the leading wineries in the region. The careful vinification of the individual sites results in wines full of character that reflect the different soils and locations. The result is fresh, mineral white wines from the higher sites and long-

lived red wines from the warmer ones, true the slogan: Vineyard by vineyard. Wine by wine.
