Our Story:
Born in 1877 from the passion dedicated by Rizzi family to the cultivation of grape and the production of wine in their farm in Trentino area (North of Italy), Seiterre today, with the fifth generation, means a large company present with its own production on 350 hectares in six different Regions in Italy: Trentino, Veneto, Friuli, Lombardia, Piemonte, Toscana.
That's the meaning of the word Seiterre: 6 territories, 6 different geographical areas, climates, terrains, and vines producing the most worldwide famous Italian wines such us Trento DOC, Lugana DOC, Prosecco DOC, Valpolicella Ripasso DOC, Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, Dolcetto DOC, Barbera DOC, Sangiovese IGT, Vermentino IGT, Corvina IGT, Chardonnay IGT.
Seiterre directly manages the process of cultivation of the grapes, harvests and vinification, bottling, packaging, sales, logistic.

Keeping the same passion of 150 years ago for the vineyard's cultivation, we implement today the most innovative processes for environmental sustainability both in cultivation, in production and sale of our high-quality wines certified by SQNPI(National Integrated Production Quality System)
Our tradition and experience are now available also in 4 dedicated lines for export, with fine packaging (labels, bottles, cartoons), addressed to the Ho.Re.Ca distribution Channel:
- TRADITIONAL - The "SEITERRE TRADITIONAL" line encloses in the name one of the two main elements of Seiterre’s philosophy: “The Tradition". The line is expressed by a series of DOCs created to celebrate the territories that the Rizzi family has chosen as the operational base for their activities and for their daily family life. A Tuscan IGT completes the range, to underline the place where the Rizzi family has a piece of heart and one of its largest vineyards in Maremma. (Custoza Doc, Pinot Grigio delle Venezie Doc, Lugana Doc, Chiaretto di Bardolino Doc, Sangiovese Toscana Igt)
- ORIZZONTI- The "SEITERRE ORIZZONTI" line encloses in the name another element of Seiterre’s philosophy, the aptitude “To look towards the future". It is a line that looks to a distant horizon, offering more structured and complex wines on the palate, created to last and to perfect over time. This line also includes two white wines from two distinct territories, Lombardy and Tuscany, having in common a clayey soil, wines that have shown an excellent longevity, alike the other references of the line (Vermentino Toscana Igt, Lugana Doc, Toscana Igt, Rosso Veronese Igt, Ripasso della Valpolicella Doc, Amarone della Valpolicella Docg).
- GIGI RIZZI COLLECTION: a limited and numbered edition of excellent wine from our wineries dedicated to wine-lovers searching for a unique tasting experience (Lugana Superiore DOC, Sangiovese Toscana IGT, Vermentino Toscana IGT, Dolcetto Piemonte Doc)
- GREEN: inspired by the Planets of our solar system: 4 wines made in our Estate in Monferrato - Piedmont Region, produced with sustainable vineyards in organic conversion. As the Planets are celestial bodies that shine with the light reflected by the Sun, so these Wines shine for genuineness and authenticity (White Wine, Classic Method, Dolcetto di Ovada Superiore DOCG, Barbera del Monferrato Superiore DOCG). Respect for Nature is a lifestyle, a philosophy that SEITERRE has supported and practiced in its vineyards for years. The great care that we implement in the vineyard serve, first of all, to produce an excellent product. Secondly, but not less important, to attract the interest of the final consumer to a more conscious choice, careful in respecting both the environment and the genuineness and authenticity of our products.
