Domaine créé en 1212 par les moines cisterciens, il a été reprise par Dominique Gruhier en 1990. Il est ensuite conduit en culture biologique dès 2003, dans le but d'élaborer des vins frais, vibrants et respectueux de la nature sur les terres d'Epineuil et de Chablis.
