The Domaine de Font-Sane has been a family-run estate since 1860 (started up in 1979) and it lies in the heart of Gigondas vineyards, one of the most prestigious southern Côtes du Rhône growths. Today the Domaine de Font-Sane covers about 16 hectares (40 acres) in Gigondas, Ventoux and Vin de France. Our wines are the result of our know-how and the different “terroirs”. A terroir is the perfect combination between the soils, the environment, the sun-facing slopes, the local climate and the vines themselves. It is very important for us to produce top quality wine and we are very carefully in the way the grapes are harvested (at 100-150 meters of altitude) and hand sorted. Véronique Cunty-Peysson, her husband Bernard and their son Romain, have been perpetuating this wine-making know-how, and thus contributing to the defense and reputation of these great wines.
